Free WordPress Tips and Advice for Active Businesses

I run several sites on WordPress because I love the software and the community that powers it. There are tons of great resources to get you up and running on WordPress and plenty of tutorials to help you accomplish just about anything. With all this information out there, I find it’s hard for businesses to wrap their minds around the functionality that’s relevant to them. Sometimes you are so busy running your business you just don’t have time to be constantly optimizing your WordPress site.

One Stop Shop To Optimize Your WordPress Site

I spend a lot of time helping businesses use WordPress and I want to use this as an outlet to help a bunch more. I have tons of ideas from projects I’ve worked on over the past few years and I want to organize these ideas and share them with you. My goal is to educate business owners on all the possible uses of WordPress and how you can do it easily. I’m only going to focus on topics relevant to business websites.

So here’s what I’ve put together:

The best way to optimize your site is to learn how other people are doing it first. Each topic will cover as much ground as possible, with links to real world examples and how they did it. This is the juicy stuff businesses usually pay me to help set up. Most of it can be done yourself with a little know how.

What To Expect In Each Email

The Main Topic

Each issue will have a short welcome message before diving right into the emails topic. The topic will be covered in a few paragraphs usually highlighting a specific service or feature you should be aware of.

Important Reads

This is where I’ll share a few articles worth noting and why you should care. This will usually be security update info, new features coming to WordPress and other topics of interest to businesses.

I might try and squeeze in a few more nuggets of knowledge here but will probably be as short as the welcome message.
